SAIGON OPERA HOUSE

The 500 seat Saigon Opera House was built in 1897 and most recently restored in 1995. With distinct French colonial architecture, the theatre continues to hold regular performing arts.

INDEPENDENCE PALACE

The Reunification or Independence Palace (Dinh Độc Lập) and it’s location has a long history dating back to the mid-1800’s. The palace has been occupied by France, Japan and later Vietnam. The current building was rebuilt in 1996 after incurring damage and continues to stand as we see it today.

NOTRE DAME CATHEDRAL

The Notre-Dame Cathedral of Saigon was constructed by the French between 1863 and 1880 with all materials being shipped from France. The cathedral is located adjacent to the Saigon Post Office and is a recommended attraction during a visit to Saigon.
